The Institute has a Publication Cell, and it is under the charge of a Programme Officer. It has on display, and for reference and distribution, all the works published by the Institute since its inception in 1971.

Among other things, the Publication Cell also looks after the reproduction and distribution of the various other publications of the Institute such as Working Papers, Annual Reports, back volumes of the Bulletin since 1971 and the Journal, the Review of Development and Change, half-yearly since 1996.

DTP Unit

The Publication Cell also coordinates and provides the necessary logistic support to the Institute's academic programmes which are inter-university nature. viz; the IDRM workshop, Social Scientists Meet, and Workshop of Ph.D. Scholars and Guides. It also undertakes the annual Census of Social Science Research and processes the data for publication, besides apprising researchers from outside of the Institute's academic activities and publications.
 

The Institutes Publications are in the form of Working Papers, Discussion Series, Reports and the back volumes of the Journal are available for sale.
